*Safety Data Sheet, SDS 

SDS is a widely used system for classifying chemicals, compounds and chemical mixtures. The SDS also includes a comprehensive document that explains the potential hazards related to specific materials or products, leak handling procedures, laws and regulations, etc., to help employers and users establish safety programs (including training) to protect the environment or Workers in special workplaces.?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /

SDS is generally provided by manufacturers. Some manufacturers have commissioned third-party certification institutions to compile and issue SDS documents. It is a technical specification, not a test report or appraisal.

*The expired date of Safety data sheet SDS

The majority of countries have no special regulations on the expired date of SDS. Generally, manufacturers make changes based on chemical formulations or materials, or changes in national and international laws and regulations.

In addition, in accordance with Article 10, Item 1 of the Occupational Safety and Health Law of the Republic of China: Manufacturers, importers or suppliers should label and provide safety data sheets before providing chemicals to institutions or self-employed operators. If the content of the ingredients is changed, the safety data sheet must be updated. The person in charge of the chemical owner should review the correctness of the safety data sheet according to the actual situation, update it in a timely manner and review it at least every three years, and keep the updated record for three years.

*GHS

Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS) is a global common system for the classification and general knowledge of chemical hazards. Provide safety precautions and accident handling suggestions for consumers, employers, labor, environmental protection, transportation selection and emergency handling personnel.

GHS includes the following items:

(1) Provide consistent classification standards for substances and mixtures based on their physical hazards, health hazards, and environmental hazards

(2) Consistent hazard communication requirements, including labeling and safety data sheet requirements

In the hazard general information items, including warning wording, icon symbols, and warning messages.
